My bad, y’all, I’m soooo late with this one…well, I’m busy! The FREE SapphicSoul EP is coming atcha soon and I’m on that! Forgive me. :)

The faithful fans of QN5 Music put together a free fanzine about their favorite artists for the rest of the world to read about. Fanzine Co-contributor Zack Edwards aka “Houstonz” came to me and asked to interview me about my future plans – and I happily accepted.

There’s so much jam-packed into this FREE fanzine besides my segment, that it would be a sin NOT to at least take a look! Check it out and drop me a line here. Again, you’ll learn some new things about me that you never knew (ex: how I met and befriended frequent collaborator Substantial).

Pick it up! You won’t be disappointed. Shotout to the ENTIRE QN5 Staff!

For those that attended the QN5 Megashow at New York’s Highline Ballroom on August 7, 2009, I, as well as the QN5 clan, hoped you enjoyed your buns off (I’m sure you did!). For those that missed it…well, you’re gonna have to settle with these photos – which are great – but, you’re just gonna have to wait until next year for the amazing live experience.

These awesome photos were taken by Darren Nanos of JustAVisual Studio. What’s so great about these photos is that they capture the energy that was permeating throughout the night. I think everyone felt it (except that frantic and pissy stage manager at Highline); it was definitely a night to remember for many of the people that came by to support this New Hip Hop Movement.

Personally, it was one of the best experiences of my entire life. I was with like-minded individuals that showed so much love. The crowd was absolutely AMAZING! I felt so free on that stage…your love truly lifted me that evening.

Anyway, thank you from pit of my very soul, and enjoy the photos.

If you missed this year’s Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest in Washington, DC, you missed a lot! The biggest and brightest of the DMV’s emerging Hip Hop and R&B scene all convened at Marvin Gaye Park for a family affair that was perfect for the summer weather. Hundreds of people came out and showed their support for the artists, Liberated Muse (the orgainzers), and their home sweet home.

I took a Greyhound bus down to perform with none other than my friend and big brother, Substantial…and, no question, we BODIED the crowd with our performance! The fest was amazing, and the energy was so positive. Thanks to everyone for making the 2009 Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest a great success!

For those that missed the performances…shaaaame! :( Still, I pitty you poor souls, and that’s why you’ll get to see some highlights from the  day’s event. Substantial and myself are in a couple clips (13:45 and 17:10), so click on the photo above to watch.

As an artist, my goal is to expose my music to as many people as possible. I want the entire world to know my lyrics – and I want them to share my unique vision with others.

Now, I have expanded my territory on the World Wide Web by setting up shop on two popular sites: Last.fm and ReverbNation.

If you are a fan of good music, become a fan on both of these sites. If you have yet to become a fan on MySpace, now is the time to do so.

There’s no better time to join the Sapphic Soul movement than now…
