Thank you in advance. The Sapphic Soul Movement is here!
Today, I decided to do something a bit impromtu and plug someone in my circle of talented friends. Everyone, please get acquainted with my man, Koch recording artist and MC to the fullest, Niles.
I told him that I would plug his song, because I do believe in this dude, but I don’t think he was thinking via my WordPress blog…actually, I just thought of it…so, this will be a nice surprise.
I’ve known this man for a while now. We met a few years back at an apartment showcase in Chelsea (back then, he was known as “Alias”). I watched his show and instantly knew he was the truth; he’s, however, unlike these cookie cutter mainstream “rappers” that blab about nothing important: this kid spits “venomous positivity”, yet maintains his focus on reality.
But, don’t just take my word for it! Listen to his lead-off single, “This Time”, by clicking on his photo. Feedback is welcomed.
Enjoy your day, y’all!
P.S. – Both Niles and I will be featured on a Substantial track (also featuring Tunji of Inverse) called “Lead The Followers” (produced by Marcus D). That will be released later on this year…I’ll certainly keep you posted.
It was bound to happen, folks…

The beautifully Marcus D-produced “Day In The Life” (f/ myself…I mentioned that, didn’t I?) is now available as a B-side to the hit single.
